WE ARE RECRUITING
We have an amazing opportunity to join the Team in Guildford as Gallery Manager for the prestigious Aura Fine Art brand!
AURA Fine Art is a very successful fine art gallery group, and we have an exciting position that may be perfect for you. Art sales experience is preferred but not essential, but a strong sales background with an interest and desire to sell luxury artwork to our discerning clients is a must.
We believe in giving exceptional customer service and developing great relationships with our clients. We have a broad portfolio of artists and artwork that we enjoy sharing with them, and we work in partnership with the clients to create beautiful homes. You will be passionate about building genuine connections with clients over the phone, where they can easily open up to you for better understanding of their wants and needs. You will drive footfall to the gallery through these relationships.
As a Gallery Manager, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding both your personal sales targets and gallery targets as set by the Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for training and developing your team through performance management, support, and motivation. You will develop and manage your own personal client portfolio and are expected to have regular contact with them to create sales opportunities. You will need to be a proactive self-starter and enjoy engaging with existing and potential clients both over the phone and in person.
This position needs someone willing to do more than respond to gallery footfall. You must be hungry to seek out and generate sales opportunities from the existing database of clients. You will be expected to develop and expand the database of clients by working with local businesses and create collaborations with other brands to foster commercially beneficial partnerships.
You will take an active role in the merchandising of the art and the presentation of the gallery and will play a pivotal role in the success of marketing events and gallery exhibitions.
This is an important appointment, which will offer the successful candidate a broad and exciting role, covering all aspects of sales, including both face-to-face and account management.
If you have an interest in art, management experience, a warm and extrovert personality, and the ability to sell to our discerning customers then please apply.
In addition to the competitive salary, we offer a healthy commission structure and generous employee discounts.
