Port St. Lucie SC is part of the continued expansion of USL League One, one of the fastest-growing professional soccer leagues in the United States. The Club will play at the new Walton & One Stadium, a 6,000-seat venue on Florida's Treasure Coast, and is committed to building a brand rooted in the local community.

Position Summary
Port St. Lucie SC is seeking an experienced, calm and highly organized Game Day Operations Manager to oversee every home match from planning through final whistle and breakdown. This leader will build the Club's game-day operation from the ground up. That means recruiting and scheduling staff, coordinating vendors and security, managing food and beverage staffing and alcohol licensing, and making sure every match meets USL League One standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in game-day operations at every level and has done the hands-on jobs as well as led the full operation. This person handles last-minute changes and staff call-outs without missing a beat, stays composed under pressure, and takes pride in delivering a safe, smooth and memorable experience for fans, players and partners. This position reports to the [Chief Operating Officer] and is based onsite in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Game Day Leadership

• Plan, lead and oversee all operations for USL League One home matches and other Club events at Walton & One Stadium
• Build and maintain the Club's game-day operations plan, run-of-show, staffing plan and checklists
• Serve as the primary decision-maker on match days, resolving issues quickly and calmly as they arise
• Lead pre-match briefings and post-match debriefs, and make improvements after every match

Staff Recruiting, Scheduling & Call-Outs

• Recruit, hire, train and schedule all game-day staff, including ushers, ticket takers, guest services, parking, operations crew and runners
• Build and maintain a deep bench of backup staff, and fill last-minute call-outs so every position is covered
• Track staff hours and work with HR and payroll to ensure accurate, on-time pay
• Create a positive, accountable culture that brings good staff back match after match

Technical & Field Staff

• Recruit, train and manage ball kids, including parent communication, supervision and compliance with the Club's safeguarding policies
• Coordinate broadcast and technical support roles, such as the field-side broadcast liaison ("red hat"), stretcher crew and other league-required positions
• Ensure the field, benches, locker rooms and officials' areas are ready to league standards
