Game Development Teacher (Chinese Proficiency)

The Lab Education Centre

is expanding, and we are looking for a passionate and capable

Game Development Teacher who is proficient in Chinese

to join our growing team.

This is more than a teaching role.

You will be joining us at an exciting stage of expansion and product development

, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and refinement of our game development programmes for students.

The Role

You will be involved in:
Teaching game development and programming to children and teenagers

Guiding students through game design, coding and creative problem-solving

Supporting the development and improvement of our game development curriculum

Contributing ideas and feedback during the product development process

Creating an engaging and encouraging learning environment for students

Supporting the development of Chinese-language learning resources and programmes

Requirements

Must have completed the Singapore Education System

A grade in Chinese at both O-Level and A-Level

Higher Chinese is preferred

Strong proficiency in Chinese, both written and spoken

Strong interest or experience in

game development, programming or computer science

Comfortable working with children and teenagers

Able to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently

Creative, curious and willing to experiment with new ideas

Passionate about education and helping students develop their skills

Need to be able to work on both weekends. Monday and Tuesday off.

The Lab empower students with the Computational Thinking knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the future economy. We are the first education lab in Singapore to use predictive data analytics and educational psychology to develop a customized Coding curriculum for students aged 4 and above.
