Game Environment Artist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Game Environment Artist with a strong photorealistic portfolio to create high-quality, game-ready 3D environment assets and implement scenes directly within Unreal Engine. You will work closely with level designers, tech-art teams, and lead artists to maintain visual consistency and continuously improve workflow efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-poly and low-poly 3D models, including trees, props, and buildings
• Establish efficient and clean UV layouts
• Build photorealistic, game-ready assets
• Implement and dress scenes directly within Unreal Engine
• Adhere to strict technical performance limits (e.g., polycount, material count, draw calls) to ensure optimal game performance
• Partner with level designers, tech-art teams, and lead artists to maintain visual consistency
• Contribute to workflow improvements and team efficiency

About you

• Proven experience as a Game Environment Artist, with a strong showreel/portfolio
• Proficiency in high-poly and low-poly modeling workflows and UV layout techniques
• Ability to create photorealistic assets with a solid understanding of PBR material workflows
• Experience implementing scenes in Unreal Engine
• Understanding of game performance optimization and the ability to deliver high-quality work within technical constraints
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with vegetation, architecture, or large-scale environment production
• Knowledge of Tech Art principles
