Game Master - Part-time

We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Game Masters to join our AIM team at our Aldgate East venue!

Who are we?

AIMEscape is an immersive escape room, operating several indoor and outdoor experiences. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer experience in the industry and high-quality game design. We are very dedicated to bringing joy and a genuinely good time to our players.

About the Role:

As a game master, your main responsibility is facilitating various games and making sure everything runs smoothly. You will be confident in communicating with our teams, giving a quick brief and explaining the rules, giving clues, and resetting the games for the next team.

• This is a weekend position, as these are our busiest times. With option for overtime hours during the week.
• We are looking for zero, eight and sixteen hour (per week) contracts. Eight/Sixteen hours are over the weekends only + overtime during the week as an option.
• All applicants must also be able to commute for early starts and late finishes. Earliest start time will be 9am and latest finish will be midnight.
• Shifts will vary week to week depending on bookings. We send out an availability list each week and allocate shifts depending on your availability and customer bookings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the venue
• Staging and setting up rooms
• Meet and greet customers upon arrival
• Provide introduction, rules, and story of each game
• Communicate with players through walkie-talkies
• Monitor games and provide hints and tips when needed
• Cheer for teams and take photos

Qualifications

• Previous game master experience (preferred but not essential)
• Customer service experience
• Acting or performing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Timekeeping and the ability to multi-task
• Interest in logic-related puzzles
• Fluent verbal and written English

Future posibilities

There is a chance for future promotions for a Senior Game Master and Supervisor roles.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.71 per hour
