Game Operator

Rec Hall is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and dependable team member to help run our Zero Latency virtual reality experience while also assisting with busser and general guest-service duties throughout the venue.

This is a great position for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, technology, and working in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

What You'll Do — Zero Latency

• Welcome guests and explain how the Zero Latency experience works
• Check guests in for their scheduled experience
• Help guests get set up with the VR equipment
• Explain basic game instructions and safety procedures
• Operate and monitor the Zero Latency system
• Start and reset games between groups
• Help guests troubleshoot basic equipment or gameplay issues
• Keep the Zero Latency area clean, organized, and ready for the next group
• Make sure guests follow all safety rules and instructions
• Provide a fun and engaging experience for guests
• Communicate with management if equipment or technical issues arise

What You'll Do — Busser / Guest Service

• Clear tables and remove empty glasses, dishes, and trash
• Wipe down and reset tables for incoming guests
• Help keep the venue clean and organized
• Assist bartenders and other staff when needed
• Run dishes, supplies, and other items throughout the venue
• Help maintain clean floors and guest areas
• Restock supplies throughout the shift
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties
• Jump in wherever needed during busy periods
• Help create a clean, welcoming environment for our guests
