Game Room Shift Manager

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, motivated Game Room Shift Manager to join our Midland team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, can take responsibility, and is interested in developing leadership and management skills. Previous management experience is not required — we are willing to train the right person.

The Shift Manager helps oversee the game room during their assigned shift, works alongside Game Room Attendants, assists customers, and helps make sure the game room is clean, organized, safe, and running smoothly.

This position will work primarily evening and closing shifts, but applicants should have some flexibility to rotate into daytime/opening shifts when needed.

Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Help supervise and lead Game Room Attendants during assigned shifts
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Help ensure employees stay productive and complete assigned responsibilities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming game room
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Monitor games and attractions and report equipment problems
• Help resolve customer questions or concerns
• Follow and enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Complete assigned shift logs, checklists, and management responsibilities
• Communicate important issues to management
• Work alongside the team when additional help is needed

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• No previous management experience required
• Must be dependable and responsible
• Must be comfortable taking a leadership role
• Must communicate well with customers, coworkers, and management
• Must be able to work independently and make responsible decisions
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be available for evening and closing shifts
• Flexible availability for occasional daytime/opening shifts is preferred
• Must be willing to learn and complete training

Schedule

Approximately 25–35 hours per week.

Shifts will primarily consist of evenings, nights, and closing shifts. Weekend availability is required. Some daytime or opening shifts may be scheduled depending on business needs.

Pay

$13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on experience, availability, training, and qualifications.
