Game Technical Director (Unity + Node.js)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Game Technical Director to design, develop, and optimize game systems and frontend architecture for cross-platform games. This role focusing on performance, scalability, and new technology adoption in modern game development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain gameplay mechanics systems, UI components, and interaction logic, multiplayer using Unity
• Design game flow, features, and player experience
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Unity, C#
• Lead initiatives to explore and adopt new technologies, tools, and workflows that improve game development and player experience.
• Analyse technical challenges and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Optimize game performance (loading time, memory usage, frame rate, rendering efficiency)
• Document technical designs and best practices.
• Have experience in Node.js / TypeScript is a plus

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in game development, frontend engineering, R&D roles, or advanced technical roles
• Hands-on experience with Unity engine and API integration
• Strong foundation in game mechanics, game physics, AI systems, networking, multiplayer, player psychology and API integration.
• Familiarity with client-server communication and networking concepts
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks
