Job Description Game Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of games to ensure optimal performance, functionality, stability, and user experience.
• Perform various testing activities, including Functional Testing, System Testing, Stress/Load Testing, Regression Testing, and Compatibility Testing across multiple platforms and devices.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes.
• Manage the deployment lifecycle from Release Candidate (RC) to Test Cycle (TC), ensuring all quality gates and test criteria are successfully met before release.
• Monitor and resolve issues arising during deployment, testing, and release validation phases.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios aligned with project requirements.
• Assist in establishing QA processes, test methodologies, and best practices to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
• Utilize and optimize QA tools, automation frameworks, and defect management systems for effective testing and reporting.
• Participate in release planning, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall QA process.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience in Functional, System, Regression, Stress, and Compatibility Testing.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Knowledge of game testing processes, gameplay validation, and user experience testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile and fast-paced development environment.
