The Role

We are seeking a hands-on, reliable Gaming Machine Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a variety of machines at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain gaming and amusement machines Inc (digital gaming machines, pool tables, boxing machines, digital jukeboxes, arcade equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs
• Perform regular service visits and preventative maintenance
• Ensure equipment is operating to the required safety and performance standards
• Record work completed and report any recurring faults
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent Diamond Leisure professionally

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Gaming Machine Technician would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential as full training will be provided. Candidates with a background in cash handling, pubs, leisure venues or other customer-facing environments would also be well suited to the role.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A full UK driving licence
• Some basic mechanical or electrical understanding and the ability to diagnose and resolve faults
• A practical, logical mindset with good problem-solving ability
• A friendly, professional approach when dealing with customers on site
• The ability to work independently while also supporting the wider team
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Confidence using basic computer systems
• A reliable work ethic and positive attitude

Experience in electronics, gaming equipment, engineering, or service repair would be advantageous. However, attitude and work ethic are just as important to us. We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, eager to learn, and takes genuine pride in their work. The ideal candidate will approach challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and be willing to develop their skills within a growing company. Full training and support will be provided for the right person.
