We are currently seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Garage Door Installer to join our growing team in Fresno, California, serving customers throughout the Central Valley.

Position Overview

The Garage Door Installer will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining residential garage doors, automatic openers, and related components. This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has previous garage door installation experience, can work independently, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Install residential garage doors, automatic garage door openers, and related equipment.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and routine maintenance on garage door systems and components.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot installation or operational problems.
• Ensure all installations and repairs meet company quality and safety standards.
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and installation materials.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding installations, repairs, and service needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including customer properties and work vehicles.
• Complete required job documentation accurately and on time.
• Work independently and collaborate with team members as needed.
• Travel to customer locations throughout Fresno and surrounding Central Valley communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous garage door installation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Trade school or vocational training experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, honest, and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and company policies.
• Willingness to work 40 or more hours per week based on business needs.
• Ability to successfully complete applicable job-related background screening and drug testing, consistent with state and local laws.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if operating a company vehicle is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 55 pounds or more as an essential part of the job, with appropriate equipment or assistance when necessary.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
• Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to safely perform installation work while following company safety protocols.

Work Location & Schedule

• Based out of the Fresno, California warehouse location.
• Field-based work servicing residential customers throughout the Central Valley.
• Full-time position, generally Monday through Friday.
• Schedule flexibility may be required depending on installation demands and customer needs.
• Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $23.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
