Job Title: Gardener

Job Purpose

The Gardener is responsible for maintaining gardens, plants, trees, lawns, and landscaped areas in a clean, healthy, and attractive condition. The role requires regular watering, pruning, planting, cleaning, and general landscape maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other landscaped areas.
• Water plants and lawns according to the required schedule.
• Plant, transplant, prune, trim, and fertilize plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
• Remove weeds, dead plants, leaves, and other garden waste.
• Monitor plants for pests, diseases, and signs of damage and report issues to the supervisor.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other gardening products safely and as instructed.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, cutters, and watering systems.
• Keep gardening tools and equipment clean, safe, and properly stored.
• Maintain cleanliness of pathways, garden areas, and surrounding outdoor spaces.
• Support seasonal planting and landscaping activities.
• Assist with moving soil, plants, pots, and other gardening materials when required.
• Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Report any maintenance, irrigation, or landscaping issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other gardening and landscaping duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Gardener or in landscaping is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and gardening techniques.
• Ability to operate basic gardening tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to work in hot weather and different outdoor conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Working Conditions: Outdoor work, including exposure to heat, dust, sunlight, and varying weather conditions.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,900.00 per month
