Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Gardener to join our dynamic groundskeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through skilled landscape maintenance, plant care, and grounds management. Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and edging to ensure vibrant and well-kept outdoor areas
• Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
• Identify various plant species, including native plants, and monitor their health to promote thriving growth
• Manage plant pest control using appropriate pesticide management techniques while adhering to safety standards
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and conserve water resources
• Conduct climbing activities safely when accessing trees or elevated garden features for pruning or inspections
• Support farming or gardening projects by planting new flora, transplanting existing plants, and managing soil conditions

Experience

• Proven experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or groundskeeping roles
• Familiarity with horticulture principles and plant identification techniques
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment operation
• Knowledge of pesticide management practices and plant pest control methods
• Growing experience with native plants and understanding of sustainable gardening practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding landscape needs and project updates
• Experience working with irrigation systems, lawn care routines, and general farming or agricultural activities is highly desirable

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
