Gardener

About the role

You will be responsible for maintaining the gardens, landscaping, and outdoor areas of our villas to a high standard. This role involves day-to-day gardening and landscaping duties to ensure all villa gardens and outdoor areas are maintained to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and landscaping areas
• Watering plants and ensuring proper irrigation
• Trimming, pruning, and shaping plants, bushes, and trees
• Mowing and maintaining lawns and grass areas
• Removing weeds, dry leaves, branches, and garden waste
• Applying fertilizers and plant treatments when required
• Monitoring plants for pests, diseases, and other issues
• Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all outdoor areas
• Checking irrigation systems and reporting any leaks or issues
• Maintaining gardening tools and equipment in good condition

About you

• Previous experience as a Gardener, Landscaping Staff, or similar position
• Good knowledge of basic gardening and plant maintenance
• Able to identify and properly care for different types of plants
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Able to operate basic gardening tools and equipment
• Basic knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and plant treatments
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness
• Responsible, disciplined, and reliable
