Gardener - Contract Part Time

Enjoy turning an untidy outdoor space into a garden people can use? Escortio is looking for a hands-on gardener for contract work on a part-time basis in Melbourne VIC.

Bring your gardening know-how AND your own kit. This role is for someone who already has the tools to get the job done: a lawn mower, line trimmer, hedge trimmer and everyday gardening hand tools. You must provide your own equipment and take it with you to each property.

Some visits will centre on cutting grass and sharpening up the edges. Others will involve pulling weeds, shaping hedges, pruning back growth or tackling a general garden clean-up. Whatever the task, we want someone who works safely, respects the property and takes pride in the result.

The rate is $40 to $50 an hour, depending on the experience and skills you bring. The arrangement is part-time contract work across Melbourne, rather than a role at one fixed garden.
