Gardening Assistant

We are looking for a gardener to join a growing garden maintenance company based in Hertford, for 4 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), and to be flexible to staff holidays and sickness for additional hours.

The successful candidate will be hardworking, reliable with a passion for being and working outdoors.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lawn cutting
• Hedge cutting
• Weeding
• Brush cutting
• Edging
• Pruning
• Leaf collecting
• Planting
• General upkeep of private and commercial gardens

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience using garden equipment will be highly advantageous, as well as some knowledge of plants
• The successful candidate ideally will be well presentable, have good communication skills, be polite and most importantly reliable
• Fluent written and verbal English required
• Good customer service skills

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £12.75 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay
