At Poongin , we're looking for a Technical Designer who can turn technical challenges into practical solutions.

Our Technical Design team plays a key role in translating buyer requirements into well-executed garments — ensuring the right fit, construction, quality, and consistency from development through production.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just identify issues, but understands why they happen, how to resolve them, and how to prevent them.

What You'll Do

• Fit & Technical Review: Evaluate garment fit, measurements, construction, and workmanship against buyer standards and approved references.
• Problem-Solving: Identify technical issues, assess root causes, and recommend practical solutions in collaboration with Pattern/CAD and sample teams.
• Sample Development: Manage technical reviews and revisions across Proto, Fit, Size Set, and PP stages to support timely approvals.
• Production Readiness: Identify potential risks related to fit, materials, construction, and production feasibility before bulk execution.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Pattern/CAD, QA, Sales, Sample Room, and Production teams to ensure technical alignment.
• Technical Communication & Ownership: Deliver clear, actionable comments, track open issues, and follow through until resolution.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience in apparel Technical Design, garment development, or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, measurement specifications, and sewing techniques.
• Ability to interpret tech packs, buyer comments, and technical requirements in English.
• Sound technical judgment and a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced apparel development environment.

An Advantage If You Have:

• Experience with performance apparel, activewear, or technical knit/woven garments.
• Understanding of pattern development, grading, and garment production processes.
• Experience working with international buyers or in a vendor-side technical team.
