Gas Engineer – Boiler Breakdowns & Repairs

About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team, working across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

The role will primarily involve attending domestic properties to diagnose and repair boiler breakdowns, along with carrying out servicing, fault finding and general gas engineering work. You will also be expected to undertake minor plumbing works when required.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who is confident working independently, enjoys fault finding and takes pride in delivering a high standard of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair domestic boiler breakdowns
• Carry out boiler fault finding and repairs
• Complete boiler servicing and safety checks
• Identify and resolve gas-related faults
• Carry out minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Work safely and in accordance with current gas regulations
• Complete job sheets and relevant paperwork accurately
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
• Manage your own workload and appointments efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Gas Engineer
• Relevant and in-date Gas Safe registration
• Strong experience with boiler breakdowns and repairs
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience carrying out domestic gas work
• Comfortable undertaking minor plumbing works
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
