  • Provide a clear customer handover, demonstrating the boiler and controls and explaining relevant operating and maintenance information.
  • Protect customers’ homes, keep work areas tidy and remove installation waste appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate digital job records, including photographs, checks and completion information.
  • Use tools, materials and company equipment safely, responsibly and efficiently.
  • Follow company procedures and all relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Represent The Edinburgh Boiler Company professionally in every customer interaction.

  • The ability to complete installations independently, while recognising when to seek technical advice or support.
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve installation issues.
  • High standards of workmanship and close attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a courteous, customer-focused approach.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to organise work around agreed installation schedules.
  • Confidence completing accurate installation records and using digital job-management tools.
