Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas Engineer / Plumber or AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP INSTALLER specializing in Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining air source heat pump systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably. Your expertise will contribute to sustainable energy solutions and help clients reduce their carbon footprint. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative heating technology projects, providing vital services that enhance energy efficiency for residential and commercial properties.

Duties

• Install, commission, and service air source heat pump systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Conduct plumbing connections and ensure proper integration with existing heating and water systems
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble and secure system components
• Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during installation and maintenance tasks
• Diagnose mechanical issues using technical knowledge, troubleshooting techniques, and basic math calculations
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes
• Drive company vehicles to various job sites, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols

Skills

• Proven experience with plumbing systems, boiler installation, HVAC installation, or heat pump technology
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heating systems and system components
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments
• Basic math skills for measuring, calculations, and system diagnostics
• Knowledge of carpentry for framing or securing equipment installations
• Valid commercial driving license preferred for travel between sites
• Familiarity with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
