Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gas fireplaces, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Conduct detailed diagnostics using schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC system knowledge to identify issues accurately
• Perform appliance repairs including ignition systems, burners, valves, thermostats, and control modules
• Operate company vehicles safely to reach customer locations promptly and efficiently
• Assist with the installation of related HVAC systems or kitchen equipment when required
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for each job performed

Skills

• Extensive appliance repair experience with gas appliances and mechanical systems repair expertise
• Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC & appliance technology, refrigeration principles, and HVAC/R systems
• Proven ability to read technical manuals and mechanical drawings accurately
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances
• Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), equipment repair, and equipment maintenance practices
• Construction experience beneficial for installations or upgrades involving structural modifications
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to transportation regulations
• Leadership qualities to guide junior technicians or assist in team coordination when needed

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
