Gas Manager

We're looking for a Gas Manager to join our Housing Maintenance and Corporate Services team based in Gosport Office.

Location: Gosport Office

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership position managing our Gas service across Housing Maintenance and Corporate Services. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the Gas service within a designated area, leading a team of skilled Technicians to deliver exceptional service in accordance with company policy and legislative requirements. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, working collaboratively with colleagues and clients to ensure safe, efficient service delivery while supporting your team's development and wellbeing.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Gas Manager, you'll be working within the Housing Maintenance and Corporate Services team, supporting them in delivering high-quality gas services and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Your day to day will include:

• Providing direct management, support and supervision to Technicians, ensuring all work complies with company policy and external regulations
• Undertaking quality assurance inspections in line with legislative requirements and monitoring KPIs and SLAs to identify trends for reporting
• Working in partnership with the Contact Centre Team to manage workflow through the scheduling system and assess operational priorities
• Conducting regular site visits to carry out inspections, sign off contractor work, and investigate complaints in liaison with the Performance Manager
• Managing budgets, ensuring materials are ordered promptly and cost-effectively, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers

What are we looking for?

This role of Gas Manager is great for you if:

• You hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification and are Gas Safe Registered with ACS accreditation (CCN 1, CEN/WAT1, HTR1, CKR1, MET1, CPA1)
• You have Unvented Hot Water (UHW10), Energy Efficiency (Domestic Heating) 6084, and Water Regulations (WREG) qualifications
• You possess Commercial Gas Safe qualifications including CIGA1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, JO1, TPCP1
• You have proven supervisory or management experience and demonstrable experience of managing a budget
• You have strong knowledge of water regulations, vented-unvented hot water systems, and the ability to read construction drawings
