Gas Station Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Gas Station Manager to lead daily operations at our fueling station. The person must have Management experience. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader who can oversee staff, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, and maintain a safe and efficient environment. As the face of our station, you will drive sales, optimize and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering a seamless experience that keeps customers coming back while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Duties

• Supervise and motivate station staff, including cashiers, attendants, and maintenance personnel to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and merchandising displays to maximize sales.
• Manage inventory purchasing, stock levels, and pricing strategies to ensure product availability and profitability.
• Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Conduct staff recruiting, training, and development programs to build a high-performing team with strong communication skills.
• Monitor safety protocols, perform regular inspections, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain excellent phone etiquette to foster positive relationships.

Requirements

• Proven supervising or store management experience in retail or fuel station environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Experience with merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and sales management.
• Ability to negotiate with vendors during purchasing processes and manage budgets efficiently.
• Exceptional communication skills coupled with time management expertise to lead a fast-paced environment confidently.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
