𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Gastroenterology Advisor

Fruit Street Health is seeking experienced gastroenterologists to serve as Gastroenterology Advisors. This role is ideal for physicians with firsthand experience in digestive health, liver disease, colorectal cancer prevention, inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy, obesity-related gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic disease, digital health, healthcare AI, or healthcare innovation.

As a Gastroenterology Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic guidance to support Fruit Street Health's digital health platform, clinical programs, and future product development. This flexible, remote advisory opportunity is ideal for gastroenterologists who are passionate about improving digestive health, preventive care, chronic disease management, patient engagement, healthcare technology, and innovation.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on digital health solutions related to gastroenterology, digestive health, obesity, metabolic disease, liver disease, colorectal cancer prevention, gastrointestinal disorders, remote patient monitoring, healthcare AI, and virtual care.

• Advise Fruit Street Health on product development, clinical workflows, physician adoption, patient engagement strategies, and evidence-based approaches that improve digestive health outcomes and chronic disease management.

• Offer subject matter expertise regarding gastroenterology practice patterns, endoscopy workflows, preventive screening, care coordination, quality improvement initiatives, and integration of digital health technologies into clinical practice.

• Share insights on emerging trends in gastroenterology, population health, value-based care, healthcare technology, clinical innovation, and opportunities to expand virtual digestive health services.

• Participate in periodic advisory discussions and contribute practical recommendations based on your clinical expertise and real-world experience caring for patients with gastrointestinal diseases.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• MD or DO with experience practicing gastroenterology.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology preferred.

• Experience in digestive health, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer screening, obesity medicine, endoscopy, telemedicine, digital health, healthcare AI, clinical leadership, healthcare innovation, or advisory roles preferred.

• Strong understanding of gastroenterology workflows, preventive care, patient engagement, physician adoption, care coordination, and opportunities for technology-enabled improvements in digestive healthcare.

• Ability to commit approximately 1–2 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities.
