THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and methodical Gate Automation Engineer to join us on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

• Installing automated gates, barriers, bollards and access control systems.
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing gate automation equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Commissioning new installations and ensuring they meet all safety and compliance standards.
• Providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with clients
• Working predominantly across the South East, with occasional overnight stays where required.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in the role, you are to possess the below knowledge and skills.

Essential:

• Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining automated gates and access control systems.
• Valid ECS Card.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage your workload.
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to health and safety.

Desirable:

• DHF and/or Gate Safe training.
• Experience working on commercial, industrial or high-security sites.
• Knowledge of gate automation manufacturers and access control systems.
• Additional industry qualifications such as IPAF or PASMA.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
