Gate House Attendant

Gate House Attendant- Bala Cynwyd, PA- $17/ hour

Schedule:

Coverage is needed seven (7) days a week

8:00 AM to 2:30 PM AND 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM on a weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence at the Main Gate of the complex
• Support visitor management and access-control procedures
• Identify suspicious behavior and report concerns early
• Build professional relationships with residents and visitors
• Respond calmly during emergencies and critical incidents
• Communicate by radio and write clear, factual incident reports
• Arrive on time, look sharp, stay engaged, and remain consistent

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience working a gate at a residential or business complex. This is critical as there is a high volume of vehicles coming in/out of the complex
• Must be available to work the weekend rotation
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Active cell phone and reliable email access
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Ability to pass required background screening

Preferred Experience

• Prior security experience
• Incident report writing
