YOUR TASKS

• Manage a team of supervisors, team leads and operations agents to consistently meet service standards and performance in a safe and secure manner.
• Coordinate shift operations to meet operational demands at a high service quality level.
• Respond accurately and make prompt and effective decisions to address any issues encountered during the shift operation.
• Meet with supervisors to discuss and determine continuous improvement options.
• Monitor operations to ensure service procedures and performance standards are met.
• Ensure close communication and co-ordination between different functions as a result to maintain the operation efficiency.
• Regularly coordinate equipment checks to initiate proactive maintenance in cases of potential failure.
• Enforce the shipment security measures and controls.
• Monitors E-mail messages, initiates follow-up action or ensures the Duty Manager on the next shift is informed.
• Ensure manpower is correctly allocated to handle the daily workload.
• Monitor ground handler and warehouse performance and complete all necessary reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean and fair working environment for all employees• Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.
• Identify training needs and career development opportunities to drive a high-performance team.
• Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE

• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• Well- developed relationship skill and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units.
• Typicaly requires Diploma (or equivalent) 3-5 years operations experience, preferably within transportation or logistics industry
