About the Role:

Serra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse in Peoria, AZ is looking for a passionate and skilled Gaucho to join our team! As a Gaucho, you'll be at the heart of our authentic Brazilian churrasco experience, bringing bold flavors and tableside flair to every guest. If you love great food, great people, and an energetic dining atmosphere, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Carve and serve a variety of seasoned meats tableside using traditional Brazilian churrasco techniques
• Expertly skewer, season, and roast meats over open flame to proper temperature and doneness
• Rotate through the dining room consistently, ensuring all guests receive attentive and timely meat service
• Maintain knowledge of all meat cuts, preparation methods, and flavor profiles to answer guest questions
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food handling and service
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless, high-quality dining experience
• Represent the authentic Brazilian steakhouse culture with enthusiasm and professionalism

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Gaucho, meat carver, or in a Brazilian churrascaria preferred
• Knowledge of traditional Brazilian churrasco cuts such as picanha, fraldinha, and costela
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry skewers for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
