GCP Cloud Engineer

We’re seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform experience to help build and support an enterprise multicloud environment.You’ll primarily work within GCP while also supporting AWS and Azure. Responsibilities include cloud infrastructure, automation, networking, IAM, compute, storage, monitoring, security, resilience, governance, and cloud cost optimization.You’ll collaborate with security, networking, architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reusable cloud solutions.

Type: Hybrid (M/Th/F remote, T/W on-site) - flexible schedule, can start anytime 7am-9am

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

Requirements:

• 4+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or enterprise infrastructure including 3+ years supporting production cloud environments.
• 2+ years of hands-on GCP experience
• Strong Terraform or GitHub experience
• GCP experience, and AWS or Azure experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant professional cloud certification

Day-to-Day

• Design, build, automate, secure, and support enterprise cloud platforms, primarily within GCP.
• Manage cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, Kubernetes, serverless, backup, and hybrid connectivity across GCP, AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.
• Provision cloud resources using Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Troubleshoot cloud platform, networking, identity, performance, reliability, and integration issues.
• Apply security, compliance, governance, monitoring, disaster recovery, and cost-optimization standards.
• Partner with architecture, security, networking, DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams while leading cloud initiatives and mentoring junior engineers.
