GCP Cloud SRE DevOps Harness Engineer

Role: Google Cloud (DevOps / SRE) with Harness

Exp:6-8 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GKE.
• Proficiency in Docker and containerization concepts.
• Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform services (Compute, Networking, IAM, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions.
• Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• Certification in Google Cloud Professional or CKA/CKAD.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.

Good-to-Have

• Certification in Google Cloud Professional or CKA/CKAD.
• Experience with service mesh (Istio) and API gateways.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (preferably GKE) on Google Cloud Platform.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.

Develop and optimize Docker images and manage container lifecycle.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Helm.

Monitor and troubleshoot container orchestration and cloud infrastructure.

Ensure security best practices for containers and cloud resources.

Collaborate with development teams to enable microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions.

Automate operational tasks and improve system reliability and scalability.
