✔️NEW JOB OPPORTUNITY – GCP Data Engineer | Lisbon

Location: Lisbon

Work model: Hybrid (60% Remote / 40% Onsite)

Contract duration: 1 year (with possibility of renewal)

Languages: English B2/C1 (Advanced)

📝 Responsibilities

• Deploy and operationalize a Telco Data Model in the target platform.
• Design, develop, and optimize data ingestion pipelines into BigQuery.
• Build and maintain orchestration workflows using Google Cloud Composer (Managed Airflow).
• Support feature expansion and platform integration initiatives.
• Perform testing across ingestion, curated, historical, and serving layers.
• Monitor platform performance using Google Cloud Logging and Alerting.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and orchestration issues.
• Optimize platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

✅ Must-have Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Wxperience with:
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• BigQuery
• Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
• Cloud Composer (Managed Airflow)
• Cloud Run
• Experience building and supporting production data pipelines.
• Strong ETL/ELT knowledge.
• Experience with:
• Data Modelling
• Performance Optimization
• Testing
• Monitoring
• Operational Support

• Telecommunications experience.
• Data Governance.
• Data Quality Frameworks.
• CI/CD.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
