GCP Data Scientist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy data science solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using BigQuery, Data Flow, Pub/Sub, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop disaster recovery plans for data pipelines to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Implement monitoring tools to track pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with security standards by implementing access controls and encryption.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of experience.

• Experience in Data Science or related field with expertise in GCP technologies such as BigQuery, Data Flow, Pub/Sub.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts including scalability, reliability, and security.

• Experience working with SQL databases like Postgres or MySQL; knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB is a plus.

• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms; ability to apply statistical techniques for data analysis.
