GCP DevOps Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a GCP DevOps Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and deployment. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Build.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes/GKE environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Automate deployment and operational processes using Shell/Python scripting.
• Manage source code and build/release processes using Git and DevOps tools.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security, availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support when required.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5–8 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP
• GCP services – GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, Cloud Build
• Kubernetes
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
