Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deploy and manage applications using GCP services, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Manage Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters, deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management across cloud environments.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security, availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Automate operational processes using Python / Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment and release processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident management and root-cause analysis.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with GCP / Google Cloud Platform
• GKE, Kubernetes, Docker
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Cloud Build
• Terraform / IaC
• Linux / Unix
• Git
• Scripting: Python / Shell
• GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, Cloud Monitoring & Logging
• Strong understanding of DevOps, cloud networking, security, and automation

Good to Have

• Google Cloud certification such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
• Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana
• Knowledge of SRE practices
• Experience with cloud security and cost optimization.
