GCSE & A-Level Economics Tutor

Overview

The Degree Gap is an online tutoring platform connecting students with exceptional teachers at GCSE and A-Level.

We're looking for qualified Economics tutors — for GCSE and/or A-Level — to join our growing tutor community.

This is a flexible, fully remote role, ideal for practising teachers looking to supplement their income around their school commitments.

What we're looking for:

— 2+ years' teaching experience at GCSE or A-Level

— A degree in Economics (or a closely related field)

— Clear, confident communication skills, and a proven ability to break down complex concepts into clear, structured lessons

— Strong subject expertise across all major exam boards (AQA, OCR and Edexcel)

— A genuine passion for helping students reach their potential

— An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

— QTS preferred, though strong candidates without QTS will be considered

Pay & Hours:

— Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

— Flexible hours — you set your own availability around your existing commitments

— Fully remote, online sessions via our platform
