Small, independent, holistically minded school for children with SEND based in St Johns Wood, North London.

Job Types: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

To teach 2 children upto GCSE level in 1:1 independent lessons. SEN role supporting children through trauma informed practice.

• Liaising with the Head of Curriculum and other teachers and other professionals about individual education plans (IEPs)

• Taking the lead in planning and delivering lessons

• Implementing behaviour management strategies

• Establishing supportive relationships with the pupil concerned and promoting the acceptance and inclusion of the pupil with SEN.

• Motivating and encouraging the pupil(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate.

• Conducting reflections with pupils to understand and promote the effectiveness of performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour
