Job Summary

Spark Techwave InnovationZ Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled Generative AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agent technologies.

The candidate will work on building intelligent applications, integrating LLM APIs, developing retrieval pipelines, implementing AI workflows, and optimizing AI solutions for accuracy, performance, scalability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications powered by Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Build LLM-based solutions using models such as OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and open-source models.
• Develop RAG pipelines for document retrieval, knowledge search, and context-aware question answering.
• Implement embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, and document-processing workflows.
• Build AI agents and tool-calling workflows to automate multi-step tasks.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise systems, databases, and external APIs.
• Implement prompt engineering, structured outputs, and context management.
• Evaluate AI responses for relevance, accuracy, consistency, and hallucination risks.
• Optimize model performance, response latency, token usage, and API costs.
• Implement security controls and safeguards for sensitive data and prompt-injection risks.
• Develop automated tests and evaluation workflows for AI applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Deploy and monitor AI applications in cloud or containerized environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow responsible AI development practices.

Required Skills

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in AI engineering, Generative AI, machine learning, or software development with LLM applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI applications.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of RAG architecture and retrieval workflows.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and context optimization.
• Experience with embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases.
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
• Experience with one or more frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of SQL and data-processing fundamentals.
• Understanding of model evaluation, output validation, and hallucination mitigation.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience building AI agents and multi-agent systems.
• Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Chroma, or FAISS.
• Experience with Hugging Face Transformers and open-source LLMs.
• Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA or QLoRA.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and tool integration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud AI services.
• Familiarity with MLflow, experiment tracking, and LLM observability.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of AI security, privacy, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Hands-on experience building practical LLM-based applications.
• Ability to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of RAG, prompt design, and AI application architecture.
• Ability to evaluate and improve the quality of AI-generated outputs.
• Experience taking AI prototypes toward production deployment.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
