Seeking a skilled AI Solution Architect (GenAI) for a large Austrian insurance company. The team is building an agentic AI platform focused on document processing and intelligent decision support.

This is a great opportunity for someone who can combine strong hands-on engineering skills with solution architecture and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and shape AI solutions
• Designing end-to-end architectures for GenAI and agentic AI applications
• Building and implementing key components in Python
• Designing agent workflows using LangGraph / LangChain
• Developing RAG solutions, including vector and hybrid search
• Designing integrations and AI tooling using MCP
• Working with Azure and cloud-based AI services
• Defining AI evaluation, confidence and escalation strategies
• Ensuring solutions are observable, traceable and production-ready
• Providing technical direction and working closely with development teams

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and delivering AI / data solutions end-to-end
• Excellent Python development skills
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG and agentic AI
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks
• Strong Azure architecture experience
• Good understanding of APIs, databases and data modelling
• Comfortable working directly with business and technical stakeholders
• Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business solutions
• Strong English communication skills
• A proactive, independent mindset with genuine ownership of solutions

Nice to have

Experience with MCP, Azure Document Intelligence, OCR/document processing, Terraform, CI/CD, OpenTelemetry, knowledge graphs or the financial/insurance sector.
