GENERAL ACCOUNTANT (28995)

1. General Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Possess solid, in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, transaction recording, and account reconciliation.
• Record, review and analyze accounting transactions in accordance with VAS and company accounting policies.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents.
• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Prepare management reports as required by management.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements.

2. Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare and review VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT, GTM and other tax declarations.
• Ensure tax filings and statutory reports are submitted accurately and on time.
• Monitor changes in tax and accounting regulations and advise the Chief Accountant accordingly.
• Support tax audits, inspections and inquiries from authorities.

3. Internal Control & Statutory Reporting Compliance

• Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies, internal controls and legal requirements.
• Review supporting documents and accounting entries for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify potential accounting and compliance risks and propose corrective actions.
• Participate in internal audit and external audit processes.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports to relevant authorities, such as investment reports, statistical reports, export processing and industrial zone reports, Department of Industry and Trade reports, and reports required by HEPZA.

4. Support to Chief Accountant

• Assist the Chief Accountant in managing daily accounting operations.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding accounting, tax and financial matters.
• Prepare analyses, reports and presentation materials for management meetings.
• Support implementation and improvement of accounting processes, workflows and internal regulations.

5. Budget & Financial Analysis

• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Analyze variances between actual results and budget.
• Provide financial data and analysis to support business decision-making.
• Monitor key expense categories and highlight unusual transactions.

6. Other Duties

• Support company projects relating to finance, accounting, compliance and internal control.
• Perform other assignments as directed by the Chief Accountant.

Yêu cầu bằng cấp (tối thiểu): Đại Học

Yêu cầu công việc:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Chief Accountant Certificate is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in FDI companies is a must.
• Experience handling tax audits and statutory audits.
• Experience in manufacturing or trading companies is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), Tax regulations, Enterprise accounting systems, Internal control principles
• Good communication in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
