About the role
A General Accountant assists the Senior Accountant in overseeing the financial records and preparing financial statements. This includes owning the Accounts Payable matters of the company and reconciliation of expenses related to that. The personnel will perform internal audit mainly to improve existing accounting policies.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile expense and payable accounts
- Reconcile other accounts subject to the supervision of the Senior Accountant
- Assist in improving the inter-company transactions recording
- Process and record reimbursements and assist in correct documentation
- Process and record advances and assist in correct documentation
- Process and record petty cash establishments, replenishments and assist in correct documentation
- Assist employees in preparing liquidation reports
- Process and record liquidations
- Assist the Senior accountant in improving the chart of accounts
- Assist the Senior accountant in improving the existing accounting policies
About you
- Preferably, a CPA
