General Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with IFRS.
• particpate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including supplier reconciliations, payment preparation, and aging analysis.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including customer reconciliations, collections follow-up, and aging analysis.
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with external and internal audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Solid experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Professional certifications such as DipIFR, CMA, ACCA are an advantage.
