General Accountant

Location: Arjan, Dubai, UAE
Position: General Accountant
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing;
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer refunds, and service provider/vendor payments;
• Reconcile platform orders, collections, commissions, and payment records;
• Prepare monthly financial statements and cash-flow reports;
• Support UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and external audit requirements;
• Assist in establishing basic financial processes and internal controls for the start-up.
  Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred;
• Strong experience in AR, AP, bank reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial reporting;
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax;
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Tally;
• Experience in Stripe or other online payment gateway reconciliation is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate should have strong payment reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and Excel skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work independently.
  Monthly Salary: AED 4,000-6,000

Medical insurance: provided;

Working time: 9:00AM-6:00PM, Monday- Saturday (Sunday off)

The final offer can be adjusted based on UAE experience, tax knowledge, and the ability to independently manage full-cycle accounting.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
