General Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. The successful candidate will support financial reporting, documentation, and administrative processes to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the organization's financial operations.

The ideal candidate has a background in accounting, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare, review, and organize financial documents and supporting records.
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support business operations.
• Maintain and update accounting records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Use accounting software to record transactions and manage financial information.
• Support administrative tasks related to accounting and financial management.
• Ensure financial records are properly maintained and organized for reporting and auditing purposes.
• Follow established accounting procedures and applicable financial regulations.
• Assist with other accounting-related tasks as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must-Have

• Experience in accounting or a related accounting function.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage financial records and documentation accurately.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage day-to-day tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using accounting software, preferably Xero.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Experience in financial reporting, documentation, and analysis.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
