General Accountant

Join Our Finance Team!

We are looking for a General Accountant Staff to support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional who is comfortable handling financial transactions, cash monitoring, billing, payables and receivables, and accounting documentation.

You’ll work closely with the Finance team and other departments to ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded, supported, and processed accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions and ensure proper classification and documentation.
• Monitor daily cash receipts and cash positions and ensure collections are properly recorded and supported.
• Assist in preparing cash disbursement requests and facilitate the preparation and releasing of checks.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable and review invoices, receipts, payment requests, and other supporting documents.
• Prepare and check billings for full-time and part-time personnel, including overloads.
• Prepare accounting entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts based on verified financial information.
• Assist in account reconciliation and review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain complete and organized accounting records, including cash transactions, billings, payables, receivables, disbursements, and account entries.
• Provide financial records and supporting schedules needed for reporting, audits, and other Finance requirements.
• Coordinate with center personnel and other departments regarding accounting, billing, payment, and documentation concerns.
• Follow established accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation procedures.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.
• Basic to working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in transaction recording, cash handling, billing, accounts payable/receivable, or reconciliation is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
• Able to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
