General Accountant

₱24,000–₱28,000 per month | Malabon City | On-site

OptiHR Business Solutions Inc. is hiring a General Accountant on behalf of our client in Malabon City.

We are looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can manage daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and tax compliance.

What you’ll do

• Handle day-to-day general accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare journal entries, adjusting entries, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger balances.
• Support tax compliance, including the preparation of BIR-related reports and supporting documents.
• Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and on time.
• Coordinate with client management and personnel on accounting matters and reporting requirements.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Preferably 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
• Working knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and BIR requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with client personnel.
• CPA qualification is an advantage but is not required.
• Willingness to work on-site at the client’s office in Malabon City.
