Role Description The General Accountant ERP role at TryDataloops is a full-time, on-site position based in Egypt. The role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations within the company’s ERP system, including recording journal entries, processing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank and ledger accounts. The General Accountant ERP will ensure accuracy of financial data in the ERP, assist with monthly and annual closing activities, and support the preparation of financial reports and statements. This role collaborates with finance and operations teams to maintain compliance with internal policies, support audits, and optimize ERP workflows for financial processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems for finance and accounting, including data entry, validation, and report generation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools for analyzing and presenting financial data.
• Attention to detail, solid numerical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records under time constraints.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with local accounting standards and tax regulations in Egypt is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a technology or AI-focused company, or exposure to data-driven business environments, is a plus.
