General Accounting Associate

An entry -level accounting professional responsible for managing daily financial tasks, supporting and coordinate with the Hongkong accounting team (Finance Director, Senior Accountant) and ensuring accurate financial reporting and government compliance. One-man band position to manage the full set of accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

· Record and maintain journal and account entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principle.

· Assist in preparing FS (financial statements), including balance sheet, income and cash flow statements.

· Prepare and reconcile bank statement, accounts payable, receivable and general ledger accounts.

· Process invoices, expenses reports and other financial documents for payment, reimbursement.

· Prepare monthly budget to be submitted in Hongkong Headquarter

· Forecasting and variance analysis by gathering and analyzing financial data.

· Assist with Tax filings as schedule, audits and compliance documentation.

· Prepare and send billing to merchant and follow-up.

· Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial transaction.

· To provide office general administration.

Skills and Competencies:

· Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

· Knowledgeable of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and bookkeeping practices.

· Proficiency in spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Team Player

· Adaptable in a fast-paced working environment.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Relevant certifications such as CPA are advantage but not required.

· 2-3 years relevant experience.

· Experience working with regional company is an advantage.

Candidate willing to work in Ortigas Pasig City.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
