General Accounting Lead

Job Summary

The General Accounting Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day accounting operations to ensure the organization's financial integrity. This role oversees financial reporting accuracy, strengthens internal control frameworks, and ensures full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will transform financial data into actionable business insights to support strategic planning and drive operational efficiency across all finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reported in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and KPI analyses for executive review.
• Maintain and enhance internal control systems across accounting, treasury, and financial reporting cycles.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies, including BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning to maintain financial stability.
• Establish and enforce credit and collection policies to optimize receivables and protect company cash flow.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, financial institutions, and government agencies.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Strong technical proficiency in GAAP, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Direct experience managing internal and external audits and tax compliance cycles.

Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
