General Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

The General Accounting Manager will oversee the Company's overall accounting and financial operations, including general accounting, payroll, tax compliance, government remittances, business permits, regulatory compliance, BOI registration and reporting, and internal audit activities.

The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial transactions, payroll processing, BIR filings, and statutory remittances such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and employee withholding tax. The position will also manage the processing and renewal of business permits, government registrations, and licenses, as well as the company's ongoing BOI compliance and reporting requirements.

The General Accounting Manager will also conduct internal audits and reviews of financial and operational processes to assess compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulations. The role will identify control weaknesses, potential financial risks, and process gaps, and recommend appropriate corrective actions and improvements.

This position requires strong knowledge of Philippine accounting, taxation, payroll, government regulations, statutory compliance, and internal controls, combined with strong leadership, analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree holder of Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• Must be a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
• At least 10 years of progressive or relevant accounting experience holding a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting, taxation, payroll, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with BIR tax compliance and government remittances.
• Experience overseeing payroll and statutory contributions, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and employee withholding tax.
• Experience in processing and renewing business permits and government registrations.
• Experience handling government regulatory compliance.
• Experience with BOI registration and compliance is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
