General Accounting Specialist

The opportunity Join our General Accounting team in Tallinn and play a meaningful role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and accounting operations across multiple European countries.

In this position, you will work with a broad range of accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting and internal controls. You will collaborate with finance colleagues, business stakeholders, and shared services teams to support high-quality and compliant financial processes.

How You'll Make An Impact

• You prepare monthly financial reports and investigate significant variances.
• You work with SAP S/4HANA and Tagetik financial reporting and consolidation system
• You perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• You support the preparation of financial statements and reporting activities.
• You contribute to consolidation activities and related accounting processes.
• You support internal control testing and maintain clear documentation.
• You work with finance teams and business stakeholders to align accounting practices and processes.
• You participate in process improvement initiatives, accounting projects, and international workgroups.

Your background

• You hold a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• You have experience working in accounting, financial reporting, or general ledger activities.
• You are comfortable working with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• You communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• You have solid Excel skills and are confident working with financial data.
• You approach tasks in a structured, analytical, and detail-oriented way.
• You collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions.
• You can prioritize your work, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Tagetik financial reporting and consolidation system, and AI tools used to improve efficiency, collaboration, or business outcomes is considered an advantage.
